As a followup to last Tuesdays presentation. Here is a neat third
party (free) System Preference to set booting to/from 64 boot kernel
in Snow Leopard (10.6).

Also this Apple article describes what I mentioned on the slides
regarding keys and command line version to boot into 64 or 32 bit.

Keep in mind if you have less than 8 GB RAM you like won't see much
performance differences by booting into 64 bit.
