[MacTUG] FYI: Mac OS X 10.6 ( Snow Leopard ) will only run on Intel based Macs

With OS X 10.6, Apple has discontinued the support for new OS's on the  
PowerPC Macs.

I don't know how big of a deal this is overall, but I do know a number  
of users still using PowerPC Macs, and some who's main system is a G5  
tower.

Here are the basic requirements of 10.6

General requirements
	• Mac computer with an Intel processor
	• 1GB of memory
	• 5GB of free disk space
	• DVD drive for installation
