[MacTUG] Mac Mail showing hidden folders

If you go to your mail preferences, choose accounts, and then click on  
the advanced tab.

In the "second" half you will see a field named "IMAP Path Prefix", in  
your case I am guessing that it is blank, which means your root level.
Put in here your mail path, I think by default it likely is "mail"

Save the preferences, and see if that fixes the problem.

It might take a bit before the email folders get updated, so you can  
for a resync if you want them right away.
