[MacTUG] Leopard detrimental to network speed?

Third-party network devices nothing, since upgrading to Leopard my G5
tower autodetects 100mbit on my gigabit switch. I don't care *that*
much, but still very annoying and some of us who support clients who do
care may be ensaddened by this result.
My G4 Powerbook has been just ducky though. I don't get it.
