[Female-math-faculty] Improving the advancement of women: Knowledge Integration Talk

The Centre for Knowledge Integration (CKI) Speaker Series may be of interest
to you.  
The topic, "Integrating expertise: Improving the advancement of women and
minority scientists"  is being presented by Dr Carla Fehr from Iowa State
University. Dr Fehr will talk about the ISU ADVANCE project, an on-going
multi-million dollar interdisciplinary research project aimed at improving
recruitment, retention, and advancement of women and under-represented
minorities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM
fields) in the academy.  http://www.advance.iastate.edu/
  
The talk is aimed at a general audience and will focus on the project and
its collaborative process. While some of the findings will be mentioned, not
all of the data have been analyzed yet-- a fuller discussion for another
visit perhaps.
