[Faccus] WatIAM email error – April 13

What is happening? As part of a configuration error, a number of staff, faculty and students have received an email inviting them to complete their registration for the WatIAM system. This email should not have been sent and all users can disregard. The email would look similar to the example below:
As part of the registration process, your profile (ID=6A8517D4-CEF7-49EB-BE92-4B99D6644A42) was created in the University's Identity and Access Management (WatIAM) system.
In order to complete your registration formalities in a timely manner, please follow the instructions below to update your identity before Thu Mar 23 12:04:07 EDT 2017
If you already have an identity, please visit http://wocoken.private.uwaterloo.ca:8080/identityiq/rest/updateUser/ott/c89dd997af2043a68eb3a43e1ea9722c and login to update your account.
If you do not have an identity, please visit http://wocoken.private.uwaterloo.ca:8080/identityiq/external/registration.jsf?ott=c89dd997af2043a68eb3a43e1ea9722c to complete the required setup.
When did this happen? The emails were sent on Wednesday, April 12.
What is the impact? If users follow through with the instructions in the email it would not impact their account in any way. No other impact is expected. Users can disregard and delete the email.
