Comment:        One of the mailservices email stores had issues accepting/responding to requests.  This would appear as timeouts on IMAP and a delay in email delivery (The email was on campus, just not delivered to the user).  Sending of email, scanning of email were not impacted.

Monitoring was not alerting due to a miss-configuration of the monitors for that particular server - this has been rectified.
