[Faccus] Security update for Internet Explorer – August 19

What is happening? A patch for Internet Explorer will be fast-tracked for release to all academic support computers as it addresses a critical security flaw.

When is this happening? Wednesday, August 19 at 11:00 p.m.
Before the upgrade begins: Please close any open web browsers. If you forget to close them, a task sequence will close them for you, but your work may not be saved.

Please note: This update requires a restart and machines will be rebooted.
