[Faccus] Reminder: Bomgar upgrade - June 3

What is happening? The Bomgar appliance hosting remotehelp.uwaterloo.ca will be upgraded to a new version and clients will be prompted to allow screen recording.

When is this happening? Wednesday, June 3, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (version 15.1).

How does this impact you? Bomgar will be unavailable during the upgrade window.

After the upgrade: The Bomgar Representative Console on your machine should update automatically after you login. If there are difficulties, uninstall the Bomgar Representative Console and download the current version from https://remotehelp.uwaterloo.ca/login. Jump clients should update automatically. When starting a session, clients will see a new prompt to allow session recording. They can allow or refuse recording and then continue with the session.

When is this happening? Wednesday, May 27, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (version 14.3.2) and Wednesday, June 3, 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (version 15.1).

How does this impact you? Bomgar will be unavailable during the upgrade windows.

After the upgrade: The Bomgar Representative Console on your machine should update automatically after you login. The time between the upgrades is to allow representative software to be upgraded on your machine. Please login and get the first upgrade between May 27 and June 2, so that your client can update automatically after the second upgrade, scheduled for June 3. If there are difficulties, uninstall the Bomgar Representative Console and download the current version from https://remotehelp.uwaterloo.ca/login. Jump clients should update automatically.
