[Faccus] Update: EC2 building inaccessible and services impacted

Update: The 'all clear' was given by the Police Chief for IST staff to return to EC2 earlier this afternoon. The building will be open, and services will resume as normal tomorrow morning (February 11).

Subject: EC2 building inaccessible and services impacted

What is happening? Due to a gas leak in EC2, the building has been evacuated.

What is the impact? The CHIP Service Desk is unavailable, but users can seek IT help from the Davis Centre Service Desk.

The university switchboard is now operational after being unavailable for a short time.

Meetings booked in EC2 will need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Updates will be shared as available.
