[Faccus] Changes affecting OnBase access from off-campus

If you do not access the OnBase web client from off-campus you may disregard this notice.
What is being done? Direct access to OnBase from off-campus is being blocked.
When is this happening? Friday November 28 at 7:30 am.
What is the impact to users? Users requiring access to OnBase from off-campus must do so through a VPN connection<http://vpn.uwaterloo.ca/>. Viewing documents through Quest will not be affected by this change.
A VPN connection can be made using the VPN client or through the VPN web site.

*         IST has detailed online VPN documentation<http://ist.uwaterloo.ca/cs/vpn/aboutvpn.html> available, including instructions for installing and running the VPN client on various operating systems.

*         Instructions on accessing the OnBase web client through the VPN web site are available in the Help<https://mynarski.uwaterloo.ca/web_root/splash/faq.htm> section of the OnBase splash page.
Why is it being done? Hyland Software recently disclosed a vulnerability in the web client. This change is being implemented by the Document Management System team to address the security risks introduced by this vulnerability.
