Comment: *** UPDATE: 4:40PM
At this time the ESX host issue has been resolved and service has been restored to the affected Lync Front End server. All Lync services are up and running on this server at this time, so users originally on this server may experience the brief disconnect and re-connect back to this server when it is fully available.

Due to the recent alert (Incident 379794) regarding a VM cluster host failure, one of the Lync Front-End servers was impacted by this. Users homed on this Lync server (users are balanced equally across all Lync Front End servers) would have experienced a disconnect from the Lync server and re-connected to the next available Lync Front End server.

Any active calls for those users should have continued during this switch over, but call functionality would be lost while the re-connection process was in progress. If you experienced any issues, please let us know by submitting an RT.

Once the ESX VM issue is resolved, users primarily homed on this server will be reconnected to that server, so you may experience another brief disconnect once service is restored.

Further updates will provided once services are restored.
