[Faccus] Lync server maintenance – June 26

What is being done? The Lync communications system requires Windows Updates and a Symantec update to be completed on the core servers.



Why is it being done? To install the latest Windows Updates and Symantec client for general maintenance.



When is it being done? The night of June 25 from 10pm until 2am on June 26th.



Who will it impact? Users actively connected to a server when it is removed for maintenance will be moved to the next available server and will experience a brief interruption in connectivity to Lync, but no conversations will be terminated. No other impact is anticipated as the remaining servers will continue to handle the load of connections during the system restarts.
