[Faccus] BlackBerry Enterprise Service outage during upgrade - Dec 3

What is happening? IST will be upgrading the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES10).

When is this happening? Tuesday, December 3 between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.

How does this impact you?

*       If you use a Q5, Q10, Z10 or Z30 device activated on the University of Waterloo BES10 server, you may not be able to send or receive email on your device during maintenance window.

*       Any email received during the maintenance window that could not be delivered will be delivered to your device when the service resumes.

*       Any email messages that you compose and send on your device during the maintenance window may fail to send and may need to be sent again.

Why is this being done? To make vendor-provided updates to the server software.
