Bookit is being replaced by Exchange Calendar. The plan is to move Bookit data to Exchange during the weekend of December 10th, and on Monday December 13th the campus will be using Exchange Calendar to book meetings and reserve resources (rooms, equipment, etc). The two most common ways to use Exchange Calendar will be a web client called Outlook Web App (OWA) and the Outlook desktop client. In this seminar you will see a demonstration of OWA. You will also learn about the things that Outlook can do, that OWA cannot. There are some things to do before the migration to Exchange Calendar, including moving existing Exchange 2007 accounts to Exchange 2010, creating new Exchange 2010 accounts and resources. Training documentation has been prepared, and training sessions are being scheduled. Lots to show and discuss in this seminar, including what you can do to get ready.
