[Faccus] long form email addresses

I am going to send out the following email message to the 263 people that have a longer than 8 character incoming email address. This email won't be sent to those who have already set a friendly email address. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions about this email. If I don't hear anything this aft (Wed Mar3), I will go ahead and send.
Please note that the sample email below is for Pat Lafranier. The email will be a mail merge replacing Pat's information with the client's information.
You are receiving this email because one of your valid incoming email addresses is longer than 8 characters. A recent change to support the introduction of "friendly" email addresses (more on that below), has resulted in the longer form of your email address being set as your outgoing or "From" email address for Connect users. While there is no impact on your incoming mail, you may run into problems sending email where the "From" address is checked/verified upon receipt, such as mailing lists or personal safe-sender lists or "whitelists".
IST apologizes for any problems that this change has caused. We are working hard to make it right. To do this, we would like you to advise us on which of the following 3 courses of action you would like us to take with respect to your "From" email address setting:
a) Keep your long email id: pllafranier
b) Request that we change your email address back to the short form: pllafran
c) Create a friendly email address (notice that is email is coming from bob.hicks at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:bob.hicks at uwaterloo.ca>, and that is my friendly email address)
To learn more about friendly email addresses, please read http://ist.uwaterloo.ca/cs/FriendlyEmailInvitation2.pdf.
If we do not hear back from you, we will take no further action and will keep the "From" email address as: pllafranier. If you want to change your "From" email address back to the short form (pllafran) or choose a "friendly" email address, please email this as a request to request at ist.uwaterloo.ca<mailto:request at ist.uwaterloo.ca> . In either case, you will continue to receive email addressed to both pllafran and pllafranier.
If you have any questions, please contact Bob Hicks (bob.hicks at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:bob.hicks at uwaterloo.ca>), or phone at extension 32194.
