We are reaching out to invite you to form a team to participate in the 2019 McGill International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC)—the world’s premier university buy-side finance challenge on portfolio construction and pension investing, open to students of all faculties (mipc.ca<http://mipc.ca>).

The MIPC has cash prize rewards of C$50,000, a figure that makes this competition one of the most lucrative university competitions in the world. A C$25,000 prize will be awarded to the winning team and an additional C$25,000 in prize money will be shared amongst the other finalists.

MIPC is encouraging the best and brightest students from across the globe to compete and submit solutions to the 2019 MIPC, which will take place next fall. The case will be released on September 6th, 2019, submissions are due on September 30th, 2019, and then the top 25 teams will be officially invited to Montreal for the final round of the challenge on the weekend of November 8th, 2019 (Friday - Sunday).

Early bird registration is open now and the registration fee is C$100/team, a 50% discount from the standard registration fee. Please note that early bird registration ends on May 31st, 2019. The team composition is not required until September 6th, 2019, but we encourage you to take advantage of the early bird registration and secure a spot in next year’s competition.

The top 25 teams will pitch their solutions to an expert panel of judges representing the world’s largest asset management firms. MIPC is presented in partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and more of the world’s premier institutional investors like BlackRock. With our impressive group of sponsors, MIPC is the ideal recruiting platform for students.
