Scotiabank Global Risk Management is coming to visit us on Tuesday May 17th.

Come and join FARMSA’s financial risk management night to learn more
about considering risk management as a career. Scotiabank Global Risk
Management is here to provide expertise on the Risk Management
Information Technology and Investment Strategies. You will have a
great opportunity to talk with risk professionals and hiring managers,
get to know the people who will be reviewing your applications and
interviewing you, and share your valued opinions.

Scotiabank is a third largest bank in Canada and has achieved a great
success in finance field. They have been working with UW’s co-op
system for years, actively hiring co-op students who are interested in
Mathematics and Finance. FARMSA highly recognizes the importance of
applying mathematical skills into careers and invites Scotiabank to
give a closer insight into the risk management industry.

The event will be held from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday May 17th in MC 5501.

The Scotiabank Risk Management Night schedule is as follows:
6:30 to 7:00 - Sign in
7:00 to 7:05 - Introduction
7:05 to 8:05 - Intro to Risk Management Presentation
8:05 to 8:25 - Risk Management Information Technology Presentation
8:25 to 9:00 - Networking/Dinner

The dress code is business casual.
