[Bridges conference announcements]

2008 Bridges Conference are available from www.mathartfun.com.
Descriptions of the items and information on how to purchase them
follow.

"Achieving the Unachievable" DVD. This is the movie that we had hoped
to show at the conference. It explores the art of M.C. Escher, focusing
on "Print Gallery" (1956). For more information, please visit

"Bridges and Passages" book. In conjunction with Bridges 2008, solo
exhibitions of the work of eight artists were held in old churches
scattered throughout the Friesland countryside surrounding Leeuwarden.
"Bridges & Passages", the catalog for these exhibitions, features the
work of Istvan Orosz, Yvonne Kracht, Ulrich Mikloweit, Koos Verhoeff,
Rinus Roelofs, Oscar Reutersvrd, Gerard Caris, and Elvira Wersche.
(Those of you who attended the conference and paid for the excursion
