Hi everyone!

Hope you've all been having a great semester so far.

Since we're nearing the end of the this termWomen in Computer Science Undergraduate Committe is looking for committee members for the upcoming Fall term! We encourage you all to apply.

Women in Computer Science Undergraduate Committee is a subcommittee of the school's standing WiCS Committee.  While the larger WiCS includes incoming students, staffs and more, we focus on undergraduate students, supporting women enrolled or interested in computer science programs at the University, building community and promoting a dialogue around women's issues and diversity at the undergraduate level.

As a future committee member, you will have weekly meetings with the committee, sharing and discussing issues we faced, holding regular office hours, managing websites, running events and workshops, making friends and improving yourself. Check out some of our past events on our websitehttp://wics.uwaterloo.ca/

Kindly review the following guidelines before you apply:

~ You don't need any prior experience to apply. If you have a desire
to improve the social and academic environment of women and non-binary
people in computer science, that's exactly what we're looking for.

~ We require a time commitment of 8+ hours per week.

~ Please ensure you'll be in Waterloo for the Fall 2017 term,
either on a co-op or study term.

~ Applications close on Friday, 21st July 2017 at 10pm.
