Dinner with the Professors
Interested in talking with your profs but not sure how to start? Good news!! WiCS is hosting ‘Dinner With The Professors’!
When: Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Where: University Club (near PAC).
Who: Women and non-binary individuals in math, computer science, or related fields.
About: Come have dinner with the brilliant women who are professors at Waterloo! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about their research, academia, teaching, and your own academic interests.
Note: Tickets are $10 and sold in the MathSoc office (MC3038) until Wednesday, March 1. Registration is first-come first-serve. If you can not make it to the MathSoc office in-person, please email us to find a workaround. This is a women-only event.
Security and Networking CTF with CrySP
Have you ever wondered what exactly a "CTF" is? Do you want to learn how you too can become a HackerTM? Come out to WiCS Undergrad's Security and Networking CTF (Capture the Flag) hosted in collaboration with CrySP! This is a team competition with questions about security, crypto, networking and infrastructure! There will also be snacks and prizes!
When: Feb 28th, 2017.
Where: EV3 1408.
Who: Open to cis & trans women and non-binary individuals
