[SSDC-Safety] midterm safety review meetings

Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who replied.  It looks like tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:30pm is when we will be meeting.  I've booked E5-2004 for our meeting - it will take about 45 minutes to go through everything.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the requirements for the safety captain, go over specific details noted in the safety inspections that I conducted last week, and discuss new initiatives for this term.

If you are unable to attend, please send someone else in your place or email me to set up a time we can meeting next week.

Hi everyone,

I think we are ready to go ahead with the Safety Captains meeting - postponed from last week.  It seemed that many of you had a problem with the Wednesday afternoon meeting time.  I am also free on Thursday at 11:30 for 1 hour, Thursday at 4:30 for one hour, or Friday anytime between 11:30 and 1:30.  Please let me know asap what date / time works for you.

Hi everyone,

I would like to schedule a Safety Captain meeting for this Wednesday at 3:30pm in E5-2004.  This is a mandatory meeting for all student team safety captains to attend.  If you are unable to attend, please contact me to make arrangements to meet individually at another time.  If your team does not currently have a safety captain, the team lead or another person in a leadership position should attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the requirements for the safety captain, go over specific details noted in the safety inspections that I conducted last week, and discuss new initiatives for this term.

Hi everyone,

I will be conducting midterm safety reviews with all workbay teams next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, March 8, 9 and 11.

Please sign up for a time on the list on my office door.  Each meeting will last for approx. ½ hour

During the meeting we will review your Team Safety Manual, SOPs, MSDS and your workbay inspection records.
