Subject: ESQ PostDocs Open Call
Dear colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to the Postdoc Fellowship Programme of the Erwin Schrödinger Center for Quantum Science & Technology (ESQ), Austria.
ESQ unites quantum research groups at the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology, the University of Innsbruck and the Academy Institutes for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at Vienna and Innsbruck. It is cofunded by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research, as well as the European Commission. It is coordinated by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
ESQ research groups are working at the forefront of experimental and theoretical quantum research, focused on the foundations of physics, quantum optics and quantum information as well as emerging technologies around quantum computing, simulation, many-body physics, communication, sensing and metrology.
ESQ groups study the quantum physics of photons, ultra-cold atoms and diatomic molecules, trapped ions, nanodiamonds, superconductors, complex biomolecules and metal clusters, levitated nanoparticles, nanomechanical devices and hybrid quantum systems.
ESQ is calling for applications to fill five competitive postdoc fellowships in any of these research areas, with the application deadline January 31st, 2000.
For details on research, eligibility, employment conditions and application forms, please see
www.oeaw.ac.at/esq
We would be grateful if you could share this information with students and young postdocs in your institution.
With best regards,
Markus Arndt
