Subject: Call for Papers: Coherence and Quantum Optics and Quantum Information and Measurement

CQO X – QIM 2

Coherence and Quantum Optics (CQO)
Quantum Information and Measurement (QIM)

17-20 June 2013
University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA

The CQO X – QIM 2 conferences bring together world-wide leaders in theoretical and experimental coherence, quantum optics and quantum information to review the progress of the field and to coalesce ideas about future directions.

Submit your paper today.
Abstract and Summary Submission Deadline: 9 April 2013 12:00 EDT (16:00 GMT)

CQO X topics include:

QIM 2 topics include:

  • Cavity quantum electrodynamics
  • Artificial atoms
  • Optomechanics
  • Non-classical states
  • Topological quantum states
  • Foundations of quantum coherence
  • Casimir effect
  • Quantum simulation
  • Entanglement
  • Weak measurement
  • Ultra-cold gases
  • Singular optics
  • Optical angular momentum

  • Quantum metrology
  • Entanglement
  • Quantum memories
  • Quantum key distribution
  • Quantum computing
  • Quantum control

Submitting to an OSA meeting gives you the added benefit of having your paper peer-reviewed by an expansive committee of experts in the field. If accepted, your paper will be officially published in Optics InfoBase, OSA’s Digital Library, and indexed in EiCompendex and Scopus.

Invited Speakers have been announced!

Separate programs for CQO-X and QIM-2 are planned to include plenary and invited paper sessions as well as joint sessions on the overlap days. Both the OSA Max Born Award and the ICO Galileo Galilei Medal will be presented at the plenary session.
