Postdoc positions at Seoul National University (SNU)

The operator algebra/quantum information group in the Department of
Mathematical Sciences/Department of Mathematics Education at SNU is looking
for postdoc fellows.

The duration of the positions will be 2 years starting from September 2021
or later according to agreement. The starting date is flexible. There is a
possibility of extension (duration might vary) afterwards.

The candidate will be working in close contact with the PI's, Dr. Lee, Hun
Hee and Dr. Youn, Sang-Gyun with the main focus on
(1) mathematical approach to quantum information theory (e.g. applications
of functional analysis or random matrix theory),
(2) locally compact quantum groups,
(3) abstract harmonic analysis or non-commutative Lp analysis,
(4) operator algebras or related topics in mathematical physics.

The annual salary will be 42,000,000 ~ 48,000,000 KRW which is around 37000
~ 42000 USD, and there could be limited research travel support. There is no
teaching duty.

The deadline for the applications is November 30th. Applications including a
CV, a research plan, and contact information of two reference persons should
be electronically submitted to both "hunheelee at snu.ac.kr" and

start work.
