Applications are invited for several Postdoctoral Research Associate
positions in Mathematical Physics/Quantum Computing at the Department
of Mathematics of the Technical University of Munich (Germany).
Applicants should



• have a PhD in mathematics, theoretical physics or computer science, and



• have a strong background and special interest in mathematical
physics (in particular open quantum systems), probability theory,
quantum information theory and/or quantum computing.



The positions are with the group of Robert König and Cambyse Rouzé,
part of the research unit mathematical physics associated with Prof.
Michael Wolf. The posts are funded by the interdisciplinary cluster of
excellence "Munich center for Quantum Science and Technology"
https://www.mcqst.de/ (MCQST). Successful candidates will direct,
develop and execute research contributing towards the wide range of
objectives of MCQST. Possible research topics include - but are not
limited to - the following: estimation of thermalisation times in
dissipative many-body quantum systems, information-processing with
continuous variables quantum systems, quantum fault-tolerance and
quantum algorithms design.

Preliminary application deadline: August 1, 2020 (early submission is
