Technologies at IISc - July 24, 2020
To: Office of Divisional Chair <office.divchairs at iisc.ac.in>

Dear Professor,

Greetings from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Hope
you are heathy and safe.

IISc is India’s top ranked university. The Government of India has
accorded to IISc the status of an "Institution of Eminence."

IISc has a vibrant research ecosystem for quantum science and
technologies (please see
https://iisc.ac.in/initiative-on-quantum-technologies/). This research
cluster cuts across multiple departments and divisions in the
Institute. The Institute has also received a grant to set up the
Center for Excellence in Quantum Technology (https://ceqt.iisc.ac.in/)
supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,
Government of India.

The Institute is delighted to hold an online interactive session with
prospective faculty candidates (including foreign nationals) desirous
of knowing more about IISc and the faculty opportunities at IISc in
all areas of quantum science and technologies.

The schedule for this online session is as follows:

July 24, 2020: Friday: 8 to 10 PM IST
The link to the online meeting will be emailed to the young
researchers once they fill the google form below.

This session follows a day-long workshop on quantum computation and
information procesing on July 24, 2020
(https://ece.iisc.ac.in/~spcom/2020/thematic_workshop.html).

On behalf of Prof. Anurag Kumar, Director, IISc, we request you to
refer us to young researchers who would like to explore faculty
positions at IISc in quantum technologies. They could be your post
docs, senior Ph.D. students, or other young researchers you know of.
This would be great help to us. You have to only forward this email
to interested young researchers.
The interested young researchers have to complete a simple google form.
Link to the Google Form ( takes only 5 to 10 minutes to complete):

Thank you in advance,
Warm wishes and regards,
