Hi Glen,

I think I went about doing the same troubleshooting steps you did before I gave up yesterday and decided to just reinstall Word, and now everything works!

Finally had a chance to spend a bit of time trying to resolve this problem.

Tried a number of things to clear caches/preferences/reinstall printer and so forth, none worked.

Removed Word and did a reinstall ( from Web Store image ) and printing is now working again. Did not have a chance to try updating Word to see if the update was the cause of the problem, but will later today.

As the reinstall of Word/Office is very quick that might be the best solution to try vs trying to figure out what setting or whatever is causing the problem and fixing it.

The user hasn’t had time to sit down with me so we can look into the problem yet. So no I haven’t found a solution.

Hi Glen,

Did you ever find a solution for this issue? I have a user on Sierra having similar issues, updated OS and no updates available for Word ver 16.9.1 (180125).

I can print from Excel, however I can’t save a document as PDF and also can’t print from Word, I’m also trying it on a separate admin account than the user.

I've had it happen with Word, I wound up printing from Pages. 10.13.3, latest Office 2016. I don't often print so I didn't try Excel/PPT/etc.
