WHAT IS THE LAZARIDIS INTERNATIONAL CASE CONFERENCE?

LazICC is a student-run competition that spans over one week and welcomes top business schools from around the world to Waterloo. This week-long event features a speaker series from top executives at leading companies including TD, HP, Shopify & D2L, two technology focused cases as well as a taste of Canadian culture through trips to Niagara Falls and KW Oktoberfest.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The LazICC executive team is seeking an ambitious UW/WLU double degree student with experience in web development to lead the creation of a new website for our conference. The ideal candidate for the role is a passionate, hard-working and personable individual who is eager to take on this challenge. Job responsibilities include:

·  Leading the creation of a new website for the 2019 conference

·  Working closely with the Organizing Director as well as our faculty advisor (Dr. Sofy Carayanopoulos) to illustrate the conference's brand online

·  Updating the website with new marketing content as it is created

·  Time requirement will likely be approximately 5 hour per week
