Pitch Preparation & Summary

This is our final event in our four part Stock Pitch Tutorials. After learning how to analyze the
data and how to build a DCF, this tutorial is created to show the members how to put together a stock pitch. We will provide a general layout, as well as tips regarding their presentations. Finally, we will end the series with a stock pitch illustration from
the research analysts.

Similar to our past events we will also allow time at the end for networking.
This event is free for all paid members. We are also offering a discounted membership ($5) for those who have not signed up but would strictly
like access to the Stock Pitch Tutorial.
Quantify: Risk & Insurance Case Competition ft. The Co-operators
(July 15 EV3 @ 9:30AM - 5:30PM)
This year, the UW Finance Association and the UW Actuarial Science Club are proud to announce the
next iteration of our annual risk & insurance case competition, to be hosted at the University of Waterloo on July 15, 2017.
The prize pool for this year will be over $3000, broken down into:
1st $1500
2nd $1000
3rd $500
Judge's choice at $200
Teams will consist of 4 members, however registration is open for individuals and teams with less than 4 members. We will be allocating individual
registrants to teams ourselves.
If you don't have much experience in the world of insurance or finance, fear not - we will be providing ample background information to get you
started.
