[Dd2015] Bloomberg Trading Challenge: Register by Sept 27

Hello Math Business students!

You are invited to participate in the virtual “2021 Bloomberg Virtual Challenge,” per information below. Interested students should form a team of 3-5 students and select a team captain who will register your team. Prof. Arash Soleimani Dahaj  arash.soleimanidahaj at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:arash.soleimanidahaj at uwaterloo.ca> has kindly agreed to be your team’s faculty advisor. We are looking for one team but if there is more than one team is formed, please email Prof. Dahaj for his availability beyond one team. Team registration is on first come first served basis.  We can also find another faculty advisor if necessary. Interested students must be well familiar with the Bloomberg terminal. For registration and Bloomberg credentials related questions, please feel free to inquire with Prof. Dahaj. Good luck”

Reminder to register your team by Monday, September 27th for the 2021 Global Trading Challenge!

‌

Through this competition, teams of 3-5 students (led by a faculty advisor) will compete against other top students around the world to experience firsthand what real-world investing looks and feels like. Teams will use the Terminal to define market assumptions, develop a return-generating strategy, and execute trades over a closed network.

‌

The winning team will have the highest time weighted relative return, relative to the Bloomberg World Large, Mid & Small Cap Price Return Index (WLS Index).

Registration closes September 27th at 5pm New York Time EDT, so get your teams ready!
