[Dd2015] Quantify 2020 - Risk & Insurance Case Competition

The UW Quantify Executive Team is excited to host the annual case competition and networking session, Quantify Risk & Insurance Case Competition 2020! The case invites university students from across Canada to test their critical thinking skills in the context of insurance and risk management. This year we are offering extended networking opportunities as well as a prize pool of $5000 in total!

WHEN:
Saturday, July 25th, 2020, 9:00am - 6:00pm

PRIZE POOL:
$2500 for first place, $1500 for second place, and $1000 for third place.

THE COMPETITION:
The competition will have two stages: All qualifying teams will be divided into sections where they will present in the preliminary rounds. The top successful teams from each division will move to the final round, where they will present to all judges.

THE CASE:
The case will be released to registered teams on July 3rd. Finalized PowerPoint presentations along with an optional executive summary must be submitted by July 21st 11:59pm EST. No presentation changes will be accepted after this deadline.

NETWORKING SESSION:
There will be two networking sessions for students to connect with industry representatives. The general networking session for all participants will commence after lunch. An exclusive networking session for the competition winners will be held after the awards ceremony.
