[Cs-female-staff] Fwd: ONCWIC 2014: Ontario Celebration of Women in Computing - Registration now open!

Hi everyone,
ONCWIC is an Ontario wide celebration of Women in Computing -- it is like a local offering of the Grace Hopper Celebration.  It is being held at the University of Guelph this year, October 24-25.

Registration for the event is now open.  See the flyer below for details.

The Women in Computer Science (WICS) committee is able to reimburse the registration fee ($40) for 25 attendees.  If you are interested in attending and having WICS cover your registration fee, please send me email (jmatlee at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:jmatlee at uwaterloo.ca>).

I will collect names in two phases: (1) all names collected between now and Sept. 22 will be entered into a lottery and will be randomly sorted.  (2) All names that I receive after Sept. 22 will be added to the end of the list.  After the event, we will process reimbursement claims for the first 25 names on the list who attended the conference.  (This process is to help ensure that everyone who is really interested in attending has a chance at funding.)

Registration Costs:  $40 for students, $75 for others
