[Cs-female-staff] Women in CS: lunch for Shafi Goldwasser

Dear all --

Welcome to a new academic year!  The Women in CS Committee has planned
a number of events for you this fall.  These events are listed at the end
of this email.

First, we have a visit from Distinguished Speaker
Shafi Goldwasser of MIT/Weizmann Institute.  She is a well-known researcher
in the area of cryptography and complexity theory.  WICS is pleased to host
a lunch for faculty, grads, and staff for Shafi on Mon Sept 14 12-1 in
DC1301 (Fishbowl).    Lunch will be provided.  Please join us!  We hope
to have an active and interesting discussion!

So that we can order the correct amount of food for this lunch, please send
email to wics at cs.uwaterloo.ca by Mon 7 Sept at 12noon if you plan to attend.
Please also spread the word to new students that you meet.  I don't yet have
an email list that reaches the new female grad students.
